Eliminate Secondary Operation
Problem: Eliminate a secondary welding operation while maintaining the original part design and without increasing part cost.
Solution: Special weldness forming techniques were utilized to assemble the two exhaust components together producing a stronger bond and improved aethetics. Overall part cost was reduced $0.16.
