Reduce Part Cost / Maintain Quality
Problem: Duplicate parts at less than the original cost. Maintain quality and part integrity without compromising the original part design.
Solution: Diversico designed a new die that made maximum use of the tube's ductility. One end was swaged down to an O.D. of 500" and the other end was expanded to an O.D. of 1.40". Part design was maintained and costs reduced, while the material was made stronger than the original.
