| Problem: How to tightly anchor 321 stainless steel tubes to Hastalloy "X" castings. The completed part would be used as a temperature probe assembly.
Solution: Working with all kinds of exotic metals is a routine task in Diversico's Design Department. Diversico engineers designed the interrupted swage to join both parts firmly into a single component. Production parts were uniformly leakproof and able to withstand intense vibration and thermal shocks. The finished part had the ideal characteristics needed in a turbine engine temperature probe. |
